On April 24, 2012, when we were 16 weeks pregnant with our fifth child we discovered at an ultrasound that our baby has Anencephaly. The next day we discovered that this sweet baby was going to be our first girl! This blog is our journal of our journey with our sweet baby girl Joy.

Hey Breanne...it's Jessica, Ashton's Mom from Jaxon's class last year. Yesterday as I was driving my younger son to preschool, I saw that there was a gravesite service at the cemetery and I said a prayer for whoever was having to say goodbye to a loved one. Then last night I came across your blog after seeing a mutual friend had commented on one of your beautiful family pictures on facebook. Up until then I didn't even know you were expecting and I'm so sorry for your loss. I just wanted you to know how much I am praying for you and your sweet family. What a beautiful gift your little Joy is. I love that little video...what a treasure.
She's just beautiful, Breanne. I am overwhelmed with the Spirit every time I look at your blog. Your family and your little Joy are making such an impact on the lives of others- an impact that has blessed the lives of more people than you can imagine. I wish I could properly thank you for how your shining example and perfect baby have enhanced my life. I stand in awe.
